My theoretical orientation is is an integration of systemic, psychodynamic and behavioral psychotherapy.

I have a special interest in the Developmental Model (by Ellen Bader and Peter Pearson), which is based on Attachment theory and focuses on differentiation of the self and on how different Attachment Styles play an important role in the understanding of relationship problems.

Whether I see people individually, as a couple or as a family, the focus is on understanding how each of us has developed certain patterns of behaviour in reaction to previous experiences over the course of our lives, which determine who we are now in relationship to others and how this understanding can help us to make better choices regarding who we want to be in the future.
